 7th Grade Beats Paulding Co. 42 - 28

Showing marked improvement from the jamboree, the 7th Grade Jr. Wolfpack football team opened the season beating the Paulding County Patriots 42 - 28.  Wide receiver/kick returner DJ Owens returned 2 kickoffs for touchdowns.


8th Grade Holds On In Overtime To Win 24 - 16

In a nail biter, the 8th Grade Jr. Wolfpack was ahead 16 - 8 with less than a minute to go when a Paulding County receiver broke free on 4th down to tie the game.  After a good kick return and with 1 play to go the Wolfpack reached into it's bag of tricks but the game ended with the ball on the 3 yard line when time expired.  In overtime, the Wolfpack scored a touchdown and converted for 2 points to go ahead 24 - 16 when the Wolfpack defense hunkered down to stop the patriots.
